WTF?!?!?!? Now some polite manscaping to save an unsuspecting curly in the teeth is one thing... but crack and sack waxing???? I am all for broad definitions of masculinity and avoiding trapping people into preconceived notions of what is acceptable for a "man"... but dude that is just unacceptable.

ReplyDeletewell i just took a very informal straw poll in a coffee shop in capital hill in seattle and the west coast gays present offered mixed support of your claim... but people are a little more granolla out here. we are already finding cultural bias in your theory. you new yorkers are all the same trying to push your ideas of fashion, music, politics and crack waxing on the rest of the country! :)
ReplyDeleteI am certain this phenomenon has already taken hold in Los Angeles....at least it is cold enought here where one must be properly clothes the majority of the year. Seems that the trends with the gays start in NYC, LA, and Miami and move inward. I blame those damn Brazilians. ;-)
